Birg (Birk) is a tower complex, which is located in the Jeirakh district 500 meters southeast of Vovnushki, on the opposite, left bank of the Guloi-hi River. The tower complex of Birg consists of two small castle complexes of the late Middle Ages, located directly above each other, and a small separate tower manor located 450 meters above.

The upper castle is located in the middle of the forest and includes a semi-combat three-storey tower with a flat roof and three residential structures with annexes. The entrance to the castle complex was apparently through a stone arched locking gate arranged in a high defensive wall. The lower castle consists of a four-storey semi-combat and three residential towers with a variety of annexes. Within the Birg tower complex there are two crypt tombs.

The Birg Tower Complex is part of the Djeirakh-Assin State Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve and is an identified object of cultural heritage protected by the state.
