The temple-sanctuary of Itaz-Yerda is located in the Dzheyrakh district, 2 km south of the Olgeti tower complex, on the high right bank of the Olgetinsky gorge stream.

The temple has large dimensions, almost 10 meters in length, 5 m in width and 5 m in height. The inner room is divided by a pointed arch that goes from the floor itself. The monument was explored in 1969-1970 - a large number of horns of sacrificial animals (bulls, tours, roe deer, goats, deer) were found inside, as well as iron arrowheads and fragments of ceramics. Outside, a semicircular stone fence adjoined the temple. The temple is now partially destroyed.

The sanctuary "Itaz-Erdy" is part of the Dzhirakh-Assin State Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve and is an identified object of cultural heritage protected by the state.
