Furtog waterfall is the third largest in mountainous Ingushetia, but the first in accessibility. It is located 700 meters from the Furtog complex, at the very beginning of the valley of the Armhi River, on the slope of Table Mountain. Underground springs and meltwater form the stream G1alg1ai-choch, which, falling from a height of 12 meters, creates a waterfall.

Also interesting is the creek canyon with steep rock slopes, composed of magmatic rocks protruding to the surface, from which smaller jets of water also fall.

In the 1880s, Furtog Falls was visited by the famous Russian chemist D.I. Mendeleev, at the head of a geological expedition. Widely known photograph, where he is captured in the company of mountaineers, climbing almost impregnable rocks on the sides of the waterfall.

Furtog waterfall is part of the Dzhirakh-Assin State Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve and is a natural monument protected by the state.
