The architectural complex of Vovnushki is located in the Guloikhi Gorge of the Dzhirakh-Assinsky district of Ingushetia. The medieval ensemble is included in the Dzhirakh-Assin State Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve.

The exteriors include three main towers, about 30 meters high, placed on the rocks. The towers were connected by suspension bridges to protect against siege. It is believed that these structures were erected at the place where milk seeped into the ground.

Vonushki is a ancestral fortress of Teip Ozdoev, built in the XIV century. It served as a defense and guard post on the Great Silk Road. Tsikmievs, Gairbekovs, Aktemirovs also lived here. This complex is a symbol of Ingush tower architecture and a finalist of the contest “7 Wonders of Russia”.
