Tsori is a large tower complex of tiered-castle type, located 20 km east of the temple of Thaba-Yerda, on a picturesque rocky ledge surrounded on both sides by mountain rivers.

Tsori is one of the largest and most interesting tower complexes of mountain Ingushetia. Today you can see 2 battle and 2 semi-combat towers of varying degrees of safety, more than 40 residential towers with various annexes and stone defensive walls of the late Middle Ages. The battle towers are located in separate but closely interconnected castle complexes.

In different parts of Zori you can see more than a dozen terrestrial collective crypt tombs of the late Middle Ages. In one of the crypts, called Mogushka-Kash, more than 170 burials with interesting inventory (clothing, jewelry, household items, weapons) were found in the middle of the XVIII – early XIX century. A number of the deceased recorded successfully carried out complex operations on cranial trepanation. Some crypts have now collapsed as a result of rain erosion. The complex itself was badly damaged during the military expedition of General Abkhazov in 1832.

During the late Middle Ages, Tsori was the spiritual, economic and political center of the entire district, forming the Tsorin Historical Society of the Ingush. The most skilled craftsmen and craftsmen lived here.

Earlier, a long and high late medieval stone barrier wall with wide locking arched gates adjoined the Tsori complex. The latter were constantly on duty well-armed guards, controlling the local important section of the trade and transport military highway. Only stones have been preserved from this wall.

The Tsori tower complex is part of the Dzheyrah-Assin State Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve and is an identified object of cultural heritage protected by the state.
