The Guroy complex is located in the former Guro farmstead of the Itum-Kali district of the Chechen Republic, 500 m from the village of Motskaroy and 35 km northwest of the district center of Itum-Kali, on the top of a low ridge on the left bank of the Bara-Akhk River. Dated XII-XVI c.

It consists of three residential towers. These are rectangular stone buildings, slightly tapering upwards. All three dwelling towers are in an emergency condition. Their roofs and ceilings have collapsed. The complex is an example of medieval residential architecture. Petroglyphs in the form of swastikas, crosses and spirals have survived on the walls of dwelling tower 1, which are important for the study of medieval Chechen pagan cults.

The Guroy complex is a cultural heritage site located on the territory of the Argun Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve. It is protected by the state.
