Korotakh is a large tower complex of the XIII century Itum-Kali district of the Chechen Republic. Located in Malkhist gorge on the crest of the Kore-Lam ridge at an altitude of 1770 m above sea level. It includes 17 towers: one battle, now collapsed, two semi-combat, 14 residential buildings, as well as seven crypt burial grounds (semi-underground and ground) and 9 early Muslim cemeteries. On the walls of the surviving towers carved petroglyphs and inscriptions in Arabic.

The path to the complex runs along a trail 3.5 km long to a height of 700 m. The convenient location allows you to combine a visit to Korotakh with a visit to Tsoy Pede, which is located only 1.3 km from the complex. The best time to visit is from spring to autumn.

The Korotakh tower complex is an object of cultural heritage and is located on the territory of the Argun Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve.
