Tugo architectural complex No. 1 is located in the village of Tuga (Upper Tuga) Itum-Kali district, 33 km south-west of the district center of Itum-Kali, in the upper part of the eastern slope of the Maistin ridge, on the left bank of the river Maystoyn-Akhk. Dated XIV-XVI centuries.

The village is a ruined medieval tower village, consisting of two combat and seven residential towers. All towers have lost roofs and ceilings. Both military and residential towers are in a dilapidated state. One battle tower lost.

Tugo architectural complex No. 1 is a sample of the Chechen medieval tower settlement, during the construction of which the terrain was used for fortification purposes.

Tugo architectural complex No. 1 is an object of cultural heritage and is located on the territory of the Argun Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve. Protected by the state.
