Ushkaloy Towers

Ushkaloy Towers were built in the XV-XVII centuries and were used as defensive and residential structures. They are located in the narrowest place of the Argun gorge on the road to Grozny - Itum-Kali in the Itum-Kali district in the Chechen Republic.

Ushkaloy Towers have three walls, the fourth wall is a rock. Right above the towers hangs a stone visor of the rock Celine Lam, which serves as a roof. The entrance to the towers is at a height of 2.5 meters.

Ushkaloy Towers are an object of cultural heritage and are part of the State Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve of Argun and are protected by the state.
