Sharoy (Chechen. Shara, Shuar) is a village of Sharoy district of the Chechen Republic. It is the administrative center of Sharoy rural settlement. It is located 8 km south-west of the district center of Himoy on the left bank of the Sharo-Argun River.

The village has played a leading political and economic role in the region for centuries.

The village is famous for the Sharoy historical and architectural complex, consisting of 7 battle towers, 33 residential towers and a mosque. On one of the buildings carved an ancient petroglyph depicting a man with a dog. The stone with the image of an ancient complex and belongs to the Koban era. The complex was damaged after the deportation of Chechens in 1944 and during the Russian bombing in 1995 (the First Russian-Chechen War). In 2019, on behalf of the Head of Chechnya, the towers were restored with the return of unique petroglyphs and architecture.
