The Himoy historical and architectural complex is located in the village of Khimoy, Sharoy district of the Chechen Republic on the steep bank of the river flowing into Sharo-Argun.

The complex includes several dilapidated residential towers and a mosque of the XVIII century.

The mosque stands on a small hill close to the residential towers. Here begins the path to the upper building on the southern slope. The stones of the buildings are fastened with lime-clay mortar, and the walls are painted with many petroglyphs.

Nearby is a monument to the memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War.

According to field materials, on the outskirts of Himoy there was a sundial, which was a circle of huge stones, in the center of which was a high stone pillar. Apparently, it was not only a clock, but also a kind of observatory for observing the movement of the Sun.

Currently, work is underway to restore the historical and architectural complex of Himoi. Some of the facilities have been completely reconstructed.

The Himoy Tower complex is part of the Argun State Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve and is protected by the state.
