The Caucasus Investment Forum opened today in Mineralnye Vody. Tomorrow's busy forum program includes business meetings with Sergey Nazarov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Mikail Gutseriev, founder of the SAFMAR group, and Vitaly Mutko, Director General of the Russian House of Households. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and First Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak are also expected at the forum.

The Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of Pskov has approved the project documentation of ACM Group for the restoration of the cultural heritage site “Infirmary”, located near the Lazarevskaya Church on the territory of the Pskov-Pechersk Monastery.

The world's first cemetery of imperial horses in the Alexander Park and the historical pavilion “Pensioner's stable” in Tsarskoye Selo are planned to be opened after restoration by the end of the year.

“Pensioner's stable” was called a pavilion where horses unable to serve due to age or health condition lived out their lives. The pavilion was built in 1827-1830 s according to the project of architect Adam Menelas. The cemetery is located next to the pavilion. The horses of Emperors Alexander I, Nicholas I and his wife Alexandra Feodorovna, and Alexander III are buried there.

The exhibition “Piranesi's Ideal City” opens in the museum-apartment of Arkhip Kuindzhi.

Giovanni Battista Piranesi was born on Venetian soil, but his whole life was connected with Rome. The city became not only a place of work, but also his main motive. The local architecture served as both a setting and a subject of study. The master considered himself the heir of ancient architects. Engravings with ruins, temples and arches, the grandeur of forms, strictness of proportions and scale - everything in his works is subordinated to the idea of immortality of Roman civilization. But Piranesi was not only interested in real monuments. He created his own worlds - architectural fantasies, where reality yields to imagination. Prisons, ruins of fictional buildings, labyrinths - on these sheets of paper lines lose stability, the perspective is frightening, and space becomes a mystery. The master's work influenced architects, writers and philosophers. He anticipated Romanticism and shaped the visual language of neoclassicism.

The famous Siberian Roman Catholic church in Krasnoyarsk, built in 1910-1911 s according to the project of architect Vladimir Sokolovsky, is waiting for a comprehensive restoration.

The church on Dekabristov Street, 20, which used to be called Batalionny Lane, has a complicated history. Funds for it were collected throughout Yenisei province. After the revolution, in 1922, the church was nationalized and then leased to the religious community. Since 1936 the church housed a radio committee. The services were resumed only in 1993.

The building is famous also for the organ, which appeared in 1983 after the restoration of the church. The only organ in the territory of the region was made in a Czech factory.

The Friedland Church in the town of Pravdinsk, Kaliningrad Region, will be renovated and illuminated.

The kirkha and its six-story square tower are an object of cultural heritage of regional significance. The first wooden church of St. George in the northwestern part of Friedland was built in 1313. As a result of the Lithuanian army attack, the building was burnt down. In the 1360s-1380s a new brick church with a sacristy and a tower was built. After the hostilities of 1945 the building was not damaged, but it was looted. In 1990 the church was handed over to the Russian Orthodox Church, and in 2005 it was consecrated.

A cultural heritage object of regional significance - the Yakov Rekka Manor House - will be restored on 56 Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street in Moscow.

The Moscow Art Nouveau monument was built in 1903 according to the project of architect Gustav Helrich. He decorated the facades with stucco in the form of various plants, flowers and leaves, and the frieze under the cornice with figures of cheetahs and masks.

In 1902, the first owner of the plot was the entrepreneur Jacob Rekk. However, the construction of the estate was completed only in 1903 by its new owner - hereditary honorary citizen Serafima Krasilshchikova. In Soviet times the building housed communal apartments, and since the middle of the twentieth century - the Egyptian Embassy.

On May 29 and 30, the Russian State University for the Humanities will host the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with the round table “Topical issues of preserving the cultural heritage of Russia. Restoration. Education. Science”.

Grabar, faculty of the Russian State University of Fine Arts, the Russian State University of Art and Industry S.G. Stroganov and many others.

Today the head of Ingushetia Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, together with the first president of the Republic of Ingushetia Ruslan Aushev, accompanied the head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on a tour of the oldest temple in modern Russia - Tkhaba Erdy. Despite the critical state of emergency of the cultural heritage object, the delegation took the risk to inspect the temple from inside.

In early June, Simferopol will host the Crimean architectural festival CAF-2025, which will include a review-competition with the exhibition “Architectural Works of Crimea 2023-2025 ” and a forum with the awarding of participants.

The restoration of Lenin's Mausoleum, built in 1930, will soon begin on Moscow's Red Square.

The mausoleum will be renovated and restored, as well as adapted for modern use. In 2024, the mausoleum showed the movement of frame structures, displacement of external facing plates and their departure from the bearing walls, as well as bio-damage due to insufficient ventilation. The experts assessed the condition of the building as limited serviceable, and the condition of the brick parts of the walls of small collectors and walls of descents to the understudy rooms as emergency.
