Construction has begun on an industrial park in the rural settlement of Gorbani in the Dzheyrakh District. This park will be a key step in the region's industrial development.

The park will be located on 10.3 hectares, and the project is being implemented as part of the breakthrough "Industrial Development" program.

This project is important not only for the republic's economy but also for the development of mountainous areas, creating new jobs, and attracting investment.

A wild pear from the Republic of Ingushetia is once again a contender for the title of the country's main tree.

In the Dzheyrakh District, near the village of Lyazhgi, at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level, grows a unique common pear. It is 216 years old.

Nearby tower complexes dating from the 13th to 15th centuries make this tree rightfully considered a living witness to Ingushetia's history.

The pear is included in the National Register of Old-Growth Trees of Russia and is designated a living natural monument.

Voting for the country's main tree will continue until August 1.

A museum dedicated to Sergo Ordzhonikidze will be created in the Dzheyrakh District.

The new facility is planned to be located within the Nizhny Puy tower complex. The exhibition will be dedicated to the events of the Civil War and Sergo Ordzhonikidze's role in the history of the Caucasus.

The concept is based on historical facts related to Ordzhonikidze's stay in the mountainous Ingushetia region and the support he received from local residents during this difficult period.

The project envisions housing the museum exhibition directly within the tower complex. Key elements include a sculptural composition and materials revealing the historical context of that era.

The museum's creation aims to preserve the historical heritage and develop the tourist appeal of the mountainous region.

The Lyazhgi Community Center hosted a fascinating game program, "Conquerors of Space."

Under the guidance of artistic director Makka Ruslanovna Gazdieva, the children embarked on a thrilling space journey: they completed tasks, tested their ingenuity and team spirit, and learned new things about the conquest of outer space.

A special part of the program was an educational quiz on space—the children enthusiastically answered questions, demonstrating their knowledge of planets, stars, and famous cosmonauts. The most active participants received souvenirs, adding even more joy and excitement to the event.

Under the guidance of M.R. Gazdieva, artistic director of the Lyazhgi Community Center, an educational hour was held for children on the topic of "Terrorism and its Manifestations."

During the meeting, the children:

• learned what terrorism is and what forms it can take;

• discussed why this phenomenon poses a serious threat to society;

• reviewed the basic rules for safe behavior in emergency situations;

• received leaflets with instructions on how to act in the event of a terrorist attack and emergency numbers: 112, 102, etc.

The event was designed to convey a complex topic in an accessible way and without undue emotional stress for the children. Participants actively asked questions and participated in the discussion.

The All-Russian Skyrunning Competition will be held in the Dzheyrakh District from April 17 to 20 as part of the Dzheyrakh-2026 Festival.

Over 140 athletes from across the country are expected to participate. The main competitions are scheduled for April 18 and 19.

The program includes a 3.41-kilometer vertical run with an elevation gain of 980 meters, as well as an 18.4-kilometer mountain race with an elevation gain of 1,800 meters.

The routes run through picturesque mountain terrain and pass through tower complexes and natural landmarks of the Dzheyrakh District.

The competition promotes the development of mountain sports and strengthens the region's tourism potential.

The Lyazhgi Community Center hosted an educational hour, "A Special World—Theater," dedicated to International Theater Day!

Led by Artistic Director M.R. Gazdieva, participants learned about A.P. Chekhov's story "Surgery" and discussed its unique features, including the potential for theatrical interpretation.

The Dzheyrakh District Administration held a regular meeting of the Commission on Minors' Affairs, chaired by Deputy Head of Administration Dzhamaleil Yevkurov.

Commission members and representatives of relevant agencies participated in the meeting.

As a reminder, the Commission meets regularly to prevent crime and protect children's rights in the district.

From March 10th to 14th, 2026, an information stand on the topic of "Fire Safety" will be set up at the Lyazhgi Community Center.

A food fair will be held in the rural settlement of Dzheyrakh on March 12.

At the direction of Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, weekly food fairs have been organized in Ingushetia during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The next fair will be held on March 12 in the rural settlement of Dzheyrakh. Residents will be offered a wide range of agricultural products, including meat, grain, dairy products, fresh vegetables, and fruits.

Products will be priced 15-20% below the market average, allowing visitors to purchase high-quality products directly from producers.

Participants learned holiday card design techniques and created unique handmade works—with love and care—for their loved ones.

Construction of the Dzheyrakh Industrial Park has begun in Ingushetia.

The project is being implemented in the Dzheyrakh District on a 10.3-hectare site.

It is planned to develop construction and processing industries here. Priorities include the production of dolomite-based dry construction mixes, dolomite flour for agriculture, mineral wool, decorative stone, paving slabs, spring water bottling, as well as crushed stone of various sizes and other inert materials.

Since February 20, a mountaineering training camp has been underway in the Dzheyrakh District at the Kyazi Alpine Camp. Currently, there are approximately 100 participants from various regions of Russia, from the North Caucasus to Vladivostok.

The camp offers mountaineering training sessions. Both beginners and experienced climbers participate.

A large training camp for athletes from St. Petersburg is also currently underway.

Kyazi's infrastructure allows it to accommodate a large number of guests year-round and provide comfortable accommodation and training conditions. Routes of varying difficulty, from 1B to 6A, are within walking distance.

As a reminder, last fall, the camp hosted the Russian First Ascent Mountaineering Championship, with teams from several regions participating.

On March 12, 2026, an agricultural fair will be held in the village of Dzheyrakh. The fair will feature a full range of agricultural products, including meat, milk, cheese, honey, cottage cheese, and more. Local residents and agricultural producers will participate in the event. Anyone wishing to sell their goods will receive a free trading space.

A chess tournament was held at the Senior Citizens' Center for Social Development in the Dzheyrakh District and Nazran.

The event was designed to provide active leisure time for the older generation, with the goal of developing thinking and social connections among peers.

The format was relaxed, and participants expressed joy at participating and interacting.

Makhmud Ozdoyev won; Israil Gandaloyev took second place; and Tugan Malsagov placed third.

The organizer was the Senior Citizens' Center for Social Development in the Dzheyrakh District and Nazran.

The tournament included chess and checkers and was part of a broader goal of supporting the active participation of the younger generation and strengthening their social connections.

Work with young voters continues in the Dzheyrakh District.

Dzheyrakh District Electoral Commission Chairman B.M. Akhriev and Precinct Electoral Commission No. 105 Chairwoman Kh.Kh. Kuzgova visited the secondary school in the rural settlement of Olgetti, where they held a thematic lesson for high school students dedicated to Young Voter Day.

Election organizers briefed the students on the basics of electoral law, voting procedures, and the importance of civic responsibility. During a lively dialogue, the students were able to ask questions about the elections and the work of the electoral commissions. The event was an important step in developing the legal awareness of future voters in the district.

An exhibition of books in the Ingush language has opened at the Lyazhgi Community Center.

The books range widely: folk tales and legends, classics of Ingush literature, and contemporary publications for children and adults.

On February 17, 2026, the third meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Minors and the Protection of Their Rights was held at the Dzheyrakh Municipal District Administration.

The following items were on the agenda:

1. Review of administrative cases against a number of citizens.

- Cases of minors' rights violations were investigated, and measures were taken to address them.

2. Analysis of the commission's current work.

- The effectiveness of current activities and the need for changes to the commission's work were discussed.

For each case reviewed, the commission made appropriate decisions and recommendations. This ensures the protection of the rights of children and adolescents living in the district. Regular meetings allow for a prompt response to emerging issues and improve the quality of protection of minors' rights.

A meeting of the Road Safety Commission was held at the Dzheyrakh Municipal District Administration. The following current issues were discussed:

1. Ensuring road safety in the Dzheyrakh Municipal District during the 2025 fall-winter period.

2. Sand-salt mixture application and snow removal on regional and municipal roads during the fall-winter period.

3. Road accident statistics for 2025 and to date.

At the meeting of the Road Safety Commission in

Dzheyrakh Municipal District, R.R. Lyanov, Head of the State Traffic Inspectorate, presented a report on the "Road Accident Statistics for 2025." and a report from rural settlements on "Adding sand and salt mixture and clearing snow from regional and municipal roads in the autumn-winter period."

In the village of Furtoug, repair work has begun on a gravel road. Work is also underway on the single-lane road to create pockets (local roadway widening) for short-term parking to allow oncoming traffic to pass.

On February 6, 2026, artistic director M. R. Gazdieva gave a talk and presentation entitled “S. S. Oskanov — Hero of Russia.”

The first Hero of Russia was the brave pilot Sulambek Oskanov from Chechnya-Ingushetia. Let's talk about him in more detail.

Sulambek Oskanov was born in 1943 in the village of Plievo, Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, into an ordinary Ingush peasant family. At the age of just one year, he experienced the terrible deportation of the Vainakh people to Kazakhstan.

Together with his parents and other Chechens and Ingush, Sulambek returned home in the mid-1950s, during the Khrushchev Thaw. He graduated from school, then from a vocational school in Grozny. But his cherished dream had always been the sky. So he joined the Grozny flying club, which gave him his ticket to a life of flying.
