The Jayrakh district ended the year with positive growth.
Infrastructure projects have made significant progress. The reconstruction of almost ten kilometers of the Chmi-Targim road has been completed, a new House of Culture has been built in Jayrakh, and the access road to the Armkhi resort has been renovated. At the same time, one of the key issues of life support has been resolved: over five kilometers of new water pipes have been laid, which has completely eliminated the problem of water supply. All social facilities and apartment buildings are equipped with sewage treatment plants manufactured in our republic. Similar work is continuing in the private sector.
The economic sector is also strengthening. In the “Jayrakh” industrial park, new projects are being implemented at the “Kavdolomit” enterprise — stone is being mined, crushed stone is being produced, and a mineral water bottling line is being installed.
Tourism development remains one of the region's strongest points. In 2025, Jayrakh welcomed more than 600,000 guests, including local residents, who increasingly prefer to vacation in their native mountains rather than travel outside the region. In the mountainous area of Tsey-Loam, the construction of a roadside service facility with 100 seats has been completed, and work is continuing on a hotel complex with 57 rooms costing 1.7 billion rubles. In addition, seven modular houses have been put into operation.
The Safmar Charitable Foundation has made a significant contribution to the development of the region. The reconstruction of the Erzi children's camp has been completed, and it now meets modern standards for suburban recreation. Large-scale work is underway to restore tower complexes, with around 220 towers already restored.
Special attention is paid to sports and mass events. The Russian mountaineering championship and training camps for athletes from different regions of the country were held at the Kazi alpine camp. More than twenty sporting and cultural events took place during the year, including a marathon and a skyrunning championship.
Financial indicators confirm the effectiveness of the work. With a revenue forecast of 64.6 million rubles, the budget received over 70 million rubles. Personal income tax revenues were fulfilled at 106 percent, property tax at 142 percent, and land tax at 246 percent. There are no debts owed by budgetary organizations.
The Jayrakh District organically combines unique nature, rich historical heritage, and modern projects that ensure the development of the territory and create new opportunities. It is important to maintain the momentum and continue moving forward so that the district remains a magnet for tourists and investors and an example of systematic, steady work.
