Lyazhginsky waterfall is the largest waterfall in Ingushetia and a picturesque natural monument. It is located in the Jeirakh gorge to the south-west of the settlement of Lyazhgi, from which it received its name. 2 km from the waterfall is the resort "Armkhi".
The waterfall is located at an altitude of 1310 m above sea level, its height is 19 m, its width is almost 5 m. Being formed by the left tributary of the Armkha River - the Lyazhgi River (Losh-khi), the waterfall has several cascades, the height of which varies due to seasonal floods, knocking down stones. The water in the waterfall is very clean - the river is fed by a glacier from Malcechkort Mountain (3670 m), which makes the water suitable for drinking.
The waterfall is open to visitors all year round. You can get to it along the paths of the Lyazhgin Gorge, enjoying the beauty of the natural landscape. The journey will take no more than 1.5 hours.
Lyazhgin waterfall is part of the Dzheyrakh-Assin State Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve and is a natural monument protected by the state.
