The day before, Said-Amin Amagov, museum curator from the department of monitoring and ensuring the preservation of cultural heritage objects of the State Budgetary Institution “Argun Museum-Reserve”, conducted a survey of the condition of architectural monuments in Itum-Kalinsky district, around the village of Baskhoi.

During the visit, the necessary technical works were carried out, which included photo-fixation and measurement of the discovered inscription on the remains of the object. These activities are part of the regular activities of the staff of the museum-reserve aimed at preserving the cultural heritage of the region.

The staff of the State Budgetary Institution “Argun Museum-Reserve” organized a fascinating excursion to an abandoned historical and architectural complex in the village of Muzhakh, located in Sernovodsky district.

This unique expedition gave the participants a chance not only to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of history, but also to examine the architectural details of the site. During the trip, museum specialists conducted an informative tour, familiarizing guests with the history of the complex, its architectural features and cultural significance for the region. The participants learned about how the architecture reflects the traditions and life of the past years.

In addition, museum workers performed a number of necessary activities on the territory surrounding the complex. This trip not only deepened the knowledge of the cultural heritage of the region, but also contributed to the formation of a new generation of admirers of historical architecture.

The Chechen Culture Week, held for the first time in the Republic of Karelia and organized by Ksenia Dianova with the support of PERLAMUTER Art Space, came to an end the day before.

This significant event was an important step in strengthening intercultural ties and exchange of experience between Russian regions. Ramzan Bakanaev, Senior Researcher of the Archeology and Architecture Department of the Argun Museum-Reserve, who traveled to Karelia on a business trip, played a special role in organizing the series of events.

From February 14-21, visitors were able to learn about the rich history and culture of both Chechnya and Karelia through lectures, exhibitions and master classes. Meetings with the local media were organized especially for the event, which helped to draw attention to the interconnections and peculiarities of both cultures. Participants could not only hear about famous traditions, but also participate in dialogues that promoted tolerance and understanding. The week came to an end, leaving vivid impressions with all the guests.

As part of a long-standing tradition, a visit to the infamous village of Khaibakh took place. A group of leading scientists and historians of the Chechen Republic, headed by Khizar Yakhyaev, director of the State Budgetary Institution “Argun Museum-Reserve”, organized a trip to the Khaibakh historical and architectural complex located in the Urus-Martanovsky district of Chechnya.

Upon arrival, those gathered honored the memory of hundreds of residents of Khaibakh who tragically perished in a stable fire during the deportation of the Chechen people in 1944 as part of the operation code-named “Lentil”.

They paid tribute to the victims of this tragic page in the region's history by reciting Dua with the whole group, praising the Almighty and asking for good for all Muslims.

On February 14-21, 2025, the first ever Chechen Culture Week was held in the Republic of Karelia on the initiative of the PERLAMUTER art space.

The event included lectures by Ramzan Bakanayev, an official lecturer of the Russian Society of Knowledge and a senior researcher at the Argun Museum-Reserve, and Ksenia Dianova, an official lecturer of the Russian Society of Knowledge and a candidate of historical sciences.

The high level of organization and significant contribution to the development of interethnic relations, as well as the preservation of the historical, cultural and social heritage of the peoples of the Chechen Republic and the Republic of Karelia were marked with a letter of thanks from the Ministry of the Chechen Republic for National Policy, External Relations, Press and Information.

The staff of the Argun Museum-Reserve organized a field trip to the Khaibakh historical and architectural complex in the Urus-Martanovsky district. This trip was another step in popularizing the rich cultural heritage of the Chechen Republic.

The Khaibakh complex is a unique architectural monument testifying to the deep historical roots of the Chechen people. The excursion participants were able to see ruined ancient towers and half-destroyed walls, imbibe the spirit of antiquity and learn many interesting facts about the history of this place.

Such field trips play an important role in the patriotic education of young people, fostering a sense of pride in their culture and respect for the history of their people.

The staff of the “Argun Museum-Reserve” conducted an excursion to the Tsecha-Akhki historical and architectural complex located in the picturesque Achkhoi-Martanovsky district. The tour participants immersed themselves in the rich history of this region, learning about its key events and prominent personalities.

Special attention was paid to the unique Chechen tower architecture, a trademark of the region. The tour guides spoke in detail about the towers' design features, their function and symbolic significance in the life of the highlanders.

The excursion was not only a fascinating journey into the past, but also an important step in preserving and popularizing the cultural heritage of the Chechen Republic. Such events help to strengthen the bond between generations and foster a sense of pride in their history and traditions.

A субботник was held on the territory of Khoy historical and architectural complex. The museum staff prepared the museum complex to receive new guests.

During the субботник, landscaping and cleaning of the premises were carried out.

Ahead of the opening of the new season, the Sharoi Historical and Architectural Complex held a large-scale cleanup day. The employees of the complex cleaned up the territory and premises in preparation for receiving visitors after the winter period.

Within the framework of the clean-up day, works on improving the territory and cleanliness inside the buildings were realized. These activities are aimed at creating a comfortable and attractive environment for future visitors to the Sharoi Historical and Architectural Complex.

In accordance with the request of the Deputy Minister of Culture, Milkiev R. V., the Director of the Argentine Preservatory Museum, Yahyaev H. K., and a member of the Umhaev S. Museum, Minister of Culture, held a meeting with the Director of the Department of Public Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of the CR, Zaurbekov A., on checks and changes in the lists of cultural heritage sites.

On the basis of the meeting, in addition to the main task, a plan for further interaction was drawn up, including and visits to identify sites with characteristics of the cultural heritage.

Cleaning of the territory was carried out at the Khoi Historical and Architectural Museum.

The event was organized to prepare the museum complex for the opening of the tourist season.

The purpose of sanitary cleaning was to put the territory in order and create favorable conditions for visitors.

This work will allow the museum to meet the new season with dignity and provide a comfortable stay for guests.
