The Akki complex is located in the village of Akki in the Urus-Martan district of the Chechen Republic, 38 km southwest of Grozny. The village is situated on a steep slope and stretches along the river bed on the left bank.

Two complexes can be distinguished in the village structure: a complex of dwelling towers and a complex of cliff towers. The layout of the complex of dwelling towers is in rows - all towers stand in rows along the riverbed. The complex of towers in the rocks is located at a distance of 200 meters from the complex of residential towers and 20 meters above it on the relief. It consists of several towers built in the grooves of rocks. The tower with a balcony is of interest (its skeleton is clearly visible). The towers in the rocks are difficult to access.

The Akki complex is a cultural heritage site and is located on the territory of the Argun Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve. It is protected by the state.
