The Himoy sundial is the oldest sundial in the Caucasus. It is located in the village of Himoy, Sharoy district of the Chechen Republic. Nearby there is the Himoy tower complex, a mosque and a monument to the memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War.

Previously, the sundial was a circle of stones, in the center of which was a high stone pillar. Only a pillar and a few small stones have survived to this day. Some scientists believe that the stone composition served not only as a clock, but also as a kind of observatory for observing the movement of the Sun. In the history of the Chechen people, there was a time when it was forbidden to observe the sun. At the same time, observations of the solar shadow as a hypostasis of the Sun were made.

The Himoy sundial is an object of cultural heritage and is located on the territory of the Argun Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve.
