The Tongkhoy combat tower is located in Itum-Kali district in the village of Bualoy (formerly Tongkhoy village) on the left bank of the Chanty-Argun on a steep cliff.

The dimensions of the tower in plan are 4.35x4.5 meters. Castle-corner stones (7 pieces) are traced at the corners. The preserved walls suggest that the tower was four-storied. It is oriented by corners to the sides of the world. The tower is covered with stones of the collapsed walls up to the level of the second floor. The north-west wall is the best preserved. The rest of the walls are either partially collapsed, or completely, or deformed, with through cracks. The site requires partial dismantling and restoration.

The Tongkhoy combat tower is an object of cultural heritage and is located on the territory of the Argun Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve. It is protected by the state.
