The Mochchu complex is located in the Urus-Martan district of the Chechen Republic, in the historic Galanchozh area. It was built in the Middle Ages and is one of the brightest examples of mountain architecture of that period. The complex is situated in a hollow formed by the folds of the mountains, at the crossroads of pass routes leading to the Argun River valley.

The centerpiece of Mochchu is a semi-martial tower dating from approximately XIV-XV centuries. It is made of carefully worked stone and served for both defense and observation.

The Mochchu complex is part of the Argun State Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve and is protected by the state.
