Bauloy tower

The Bauloy semi-combat tower is located in the village of Bauloy in the Itum-Kali district of the Chechen Republic, 16 km northwest of the district center of Itum-Kali, on the left side of the Chanty-Argun River, in the upper reaches of the Bauloy-Akhk River.

The tower stands on a high cliff stretched towards the river. It is believed to be 5-storied. It is erected on a rocky base of well-treated stones with the use of clay-lime mortar. It is rectangular in plan, oriented by angles to the sides of the world. The height of the surviving highest part of the walls is 10 meters. The interior of the tower is covered with stones.

The Bauloy semi-combat tower is a cultural heritage site and is located on the territory of the Argun Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve. It is protected by the state.
