The Doze dwelling tower is located in the Itum-Kali district of the Chechen Republic on the right bank of the Chanty-Argun River, directly on the opposite side, above the town of the dead “Tsoy-Pede”, 32 km west of the district center of Itum-Kali.
The tower is built on a small ledge on the slope of a mountain range. It is erected on a rocky base. It is a rectangular stone structure. It is in a half-destroyed state. The roof and ceilings have collapsed. Entrance and window openings are also destroyed. It was built by order of the inhabitants of Doze village. Its shape, dimensions and construction techniques indicate that it was built by local craftsmen.
The Doze dwelling tower is an object of cultural heritage and is located on the territory of the Argun Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve. It is protected by the state.
