The Muzhgan historical and architectural complex is located in the Achkhoy-Martan district of the Chechen Republic near the Fortanga River, 64 km from Grozny, the capital of the Republic.

It consists of three complexes of towers, the distance between which is about 200-250 meters. Each of them is densely built and compact in plan. Predominantly these are residential towers, although there is also one combat tower. Also a part of the complex is a huge boulder, which was used for ritual purposes - a hollow was hollowed out on the stone for lamb slaughter. In addition, there is a small Muslim cemetery and a crypt.

The Muzhgan complex is a cultural heritage site and is located on the territory of the Argun Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve.
