The All-Russian "Kindness to the Village" campaign was held in the village of Elistanzhi in the Vedeno District. It was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Chechen Republic in collaboration with the regional branch of the "Volunteer-Medical Workers" organization.
Residents were able to receive medical examinations from specialists at the Vedeno Central District Hospital: the rural outpatient clinic included a general practitioner, cardiologist, endocrinologist, gynecologist, and ultrasound specialist, as well as a laboratory offering rapid testing. At the direction of the Minister of Health of the Chechen Republic, Adam Alkhanov, special attention was given to the elderly and those with limited mobility.
In addition to medical examinations, volunteers conducted first aid workshops and preventative quizzes.
The goal of the "Kindness to the Village" project is to make high-quality medical care more accessible to residents of remote areas and improve their health literacy.
