The Charmakh dwelling towers stand in the eastern part of the village of Charmakh, on the right bank of the Charmakhoy-Erk River in the Urus-Martan District of the Chechen Republic. They date from the 14th-16th centuries.

The towers are two-storied. The walls of the towers are made of roughly worked stones of various sizes, alternating large and small stones on clay-lime mortar. The walls are oriented to the sides of the world. The towers are in a semi-destroyed state. No petroglyphs were found on the stone blocks. Such monuments of Vainakh architecture are interesting as historical material that will allow us to learn about the everyday life and culture of the people in the region.

The Charmakh dwelling towers are a cultural heritage site and are located on the territory of the Argun Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve.
