The Khiilakh complex is located in the village of Khiilakh in the Urus-Martan district of the Chechen Republic, 9 km in a straight line from Lake Galanchozh. It is situated at the source of a small river (it flows into the Gekhi River downstream about 10 km from the right side), on a slope of a mountain ridge. It is dated XIII-XIX centuries.

The complex is a medieval settlement consisting of residential buildings and a mosque. The buildings are half-destroyed. Among the destroyed buildings there are 7 dwelling towers of different preservation. Their roofs and floors have collapsed. The complex is in a state of emergency. The towers are mainly made of large stones, fitted to each other and built on clay-lime mortar. It is known that the residential towers of the complex were built by order of the inhabitants of Khiilakh village, who belong to the Nashkhoi teip.

The Khiilakh architectural complex is an example of a Chechen medieval mountain settlement, a cultural heritage site located in the Argun Historical, Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve. It is protected by the state.
