The Adu-Surkho Fortress is located in the Vedeno District of the Chechen Republic in the historic region of Cheberloi, 2 km from the village of Khoi.

It is a monument of Chechen stone architecture and an example of defensive architecture. Built between the 16th and 17th centuries, it is associated with the name of the national hero Adin Surkho. It is located on the slopes of a mountain range at an altitude of 1,790 m to 1,833 m above sea level. It consists of the castle itself, which is in ruins, residential towers, domestic buildings, and a shelter for livestock in bad weather.

The Adu-Surkho Fortress is a cultural heritage site and is located on the territory of the Argun Historical, Architectural, and Natural Museum-Reserve. It is protected by the state.
