PSU Rector Professor A.P. Gorbunov took part in the city conference of education workers in Pyatigorsk.

The annual city conference of education workers was held at the A.D. Dementiev City House of Culture No. 1. The theme of the meeting was “Strategy for the development of the municipal education system: from challenges to innovative solutions.”

The event was attended by 460 teachers from Pyatigorsk, Mayor Dmitry Yuryevich Voroshilov, deputies of the SK Duma, university rectors, representatives of the clergy and public organizations.

The conference was attended by the rector of Pyatigorsk State University, chairman of the Council of Rectors of Universities of the North Caucasus Federal District, Professor Alexander Pavlovich Gorbunov, who emphasized the importance of cooperation between universities and schools in training future teachers and noted that the university is ready for new projects in the field of education.
