Pyatigorsk State University has launched its first intra-university competition in the discipline of “Ethno-Conflictology” for senior students.
More than 60 students are competing in their knowledge of ethnic conflict analysis, demonstrating the level of skills necessary for working in a multinational society. The key objective of the Olympiad is
not only to assess the level of knowledge, but also to promote the development of young people's desire for unity among peoples for the good of the Motherland.
The participating students represent the following institutions: the Institute of International Relations; the Higher School of Design and Architecture; the Institute of Foreign Languages and International Tourism; the Institute of Translation Studies, Russian Studies, and Multilingualism; and the Institute of Romance and Germanic Languages, Information and Humanities Technologies.
