On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation is organizing a patriotic campaign “Scientific Regiment”.

The project presents stories about students, teachers and researchers who during the Great Patriotic War contributed to the Victory by their heroic deeds.

February 2, 1943 is the Day of the defeat of Nazi troops by Soviet troops in the Battle of Stalingrad. In honor of the memorable date we have prepared a number of biographical stories of those employees of our university who took part in one of the largest battles of the Great Patriotic War.
