Darya Sukhovskaya gave a lecture at the Mamison art festival.
The Mamison art festival organized by Kavkaz.RF with the support of the republic's government was held in North Ossetia for the first time. The event is already being called a manifesto of the new cultural identity of the Caucasus.
Darya Sukhovskaya, associate professor at PSU, a philosopher and researcher of creative industries, spoke in this unique space. Her lecture on the Caucasian cultural code became the intellectual point of attraction of the festival. Daria Nikolaevna emphasized that the culture of the Caucasus is not only a tradition, but also a resource for the development of creative industries and the search for the region's identity in the global world.
"Today the Caucasus needs contemporary art as much as art needs the Caucasus. This is a space of meanings, where the past is not preserved in a museum, but is reinterpreted and becomes a foundation for the future," said Daria Sukhovskaya.
