Spanish as a Cultural Heritage: An Open Lecture by a Visiting Lecturer from Cuba was held at PSU.
The Institute of Foreign Languages and International Tourism at PSU hosted an open lecture in Spanish given by Maricarmen Gómez Villafaña, a visiting lecturer from the University of Camagüey (Republic of Cuba).
The topic of the lecture was "Spanish in the World: National Varieties of the Spanish Language." During the lecture, participants were able to delve into the historical and cultural context of the formation of the Spanish language and discuss its role in the development of Latin American countries.
Such meetings with international experts allow us to expand academic horizons, deepen language practice, and foster intercultural dialogue within the university's educational environment.
