An exhibition entitled “Love and Honor of His Title: On the 250th Anniversary of the Birth of Architect Carlo Rossi” has opened at the Peter and Paul Fortress.

The name Carlo Rossi has become a symbol of architectural perfection in Russia's northern capital. His ensembles embodied the ideals of harmony and grandeur, defining the appearance of 19th-century St. Petersburg. The new exhibition invites visitors to trace the master's creative path, from his first student experiments to the grandiose projects that changed the cityscape. The exhibition features more than 150 authentic works—designs, drawings, sketches, and decorative art objects created based on the architect's drawings.

The exhibition will run until March 1.

In December and January, the Myasnikov Mansion at 45 Vosstaniya Street in St. Petersburg will host the Christmas market “The Magical Land of Dreams.”

For the first time, the first floor of the mansion will be dedicated to the jewelry art of Kostroma, the birthplace of Snegurochka and the jewelry capital of Russia. The Red Living Room on the first floor will also be open to guests, hosting master classes and lectures on art and fashion.

The market is organized by the Myasnikov Mansion, and the restored interiors are by the ACM team.

“ACM Group” has embarked on a comprehensive project to restore and adapt the former provisions warehouses on Zubovsky Boulevard in Moscow into the much-needed modern “Museum of Moscow.”

The warehouse complex was built in 1835 based on a design by architects V. Stasov and F. Shestakov. Historically, the warehouses were intended for storing food for military units stationed in the Khamovniki, Spassky, and Lefortovo barracks.

On December 6 and 7, the Association of Architectural Workshops will hold its first winter event, “Architectural Christmas Tree,” at the Lenpoligramash lecture hall.

The Head of the Republic of Ingushetia, Makhmud-Ali Maksharipovich Kalimatov, together with representatives of the SAFMAR Charitable Foundation, opened five historic towers of the Keli Architectural Complex in the mountainous part of Ingushetia, which were restored as part of the ACM Group project.

The Tower of the Holy Gates, a cultural heritage site of federal significance located on the grounds of the Pskov-Pechersk Monastery, following restoration work completed this year by ACM Group.

Today marks the 129th anniversary of the Museum of Moscow. The museum houses archives of prominent Moscow scholars, photographs, graphics, paintings, household items, and archaeological treasures, as well as creating exhibitions, holding lectures, and even staging performances.

ACM Group is currently developing a comprehensive restoration project for this unique museum and congratulates the museum on its birthday!

Scaffolding has been removed from the balustrade of St. Isaac's Cathedral in St. Petersburg.

The restoration of the brickwork has been completed, the metal structures have been reinforced, the reliefs and decor have been restored, and a ventilation system for the dome has been installed. The work has been ongoing since 2023.

The building of the former St. Petersburg Teacher Training Institute named after Emperor Alexander II at 86 Bolshoy Sampsonievsky Prospekt has been recognized as a regional monument.

The building was constructed between 1914 and 1916 according to a design by architect Vasily Androsov.

The austere, symmetrical facade has harmonious proportions that hark back to the St. Petersburg classicism of the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

The building has rich decorative elements: the base is finished with granite, and the first floor is decorated with rustication, window niches, and keystones. The windows on the third floor are decorated with keystones featuring female mascarons.

On December 18, the 5th conference “Preservation and Revival of Estates and Churches. Volunteer Initiatives” will take place.

The conference is organized by the International Restoration Center with the support of the Committee for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage of the Leningrad Region, the Leningrad Regional Branch of the All-Russian Society for the Preservation of Historical and Cultural Monuments, and the Russian Association of Restorers.

The event aims to identify positive experiences and the current situation in the field of preservation and restoration of estates and temples in the Leningrad Region and other regions of Russia, as well as to showcase volunteer initiatives in this area.

Yesterday, Moscow hosted a conference entitled “Problems of Archaeology in the Mountainous Region of the Central North Caucasus in the Early Iron Age and Early Middle Ages.”

The study of the ancient culture of the mountainous region of the North Caucasus has been ongoing for more than 150 years. Throughout this time, this aspect of Caucasian history has remained an important element in the formation of the cultural and historical paradigm of archaeology in southern Russia. Researchers are particularly interested in the turning points in the history of the North Caucasus, when contacts between the mountain dwellers and the steppe peoples were closest.

The round table was attended by employees of the State Historical Museum, the State Hermitage Museum, and the Kabardino-Balkarian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. During the meeting, reports were presented on field studies of burial grounds and settlements in the region and research on museum collections.

“ACM Group” continues to identify unregistered historical buildings in the mountainous region of Ingushetia and add them to the Unified Electronic Database of Monuments in Ingushetia, which is being created by the company with the full support of the SAFMAR Charitable Foundation. Buildings that have the characteristics of cultural heritage sites must also be entered into the Register of Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia for their legal and actual protection.

The ACM Group team has completed its work on studying and identifying buildings and steles in the hard-to-reach Garak Tower Complex. The existing register contains 26 cultural heritage sites, including military and residential towers, as well as crypts. ASM Group specialists have identified 122 more historical monuments at the Garak complex that have the characteristics of cultural and archaeological heritage sites, including towers, crypts, and steles.

“ACM Group” sent 122 applications to the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia to include the identified sites in the Register of Newly Identified Cultural Heritage Sites of Ingushetia. We hope that within 90 working days, another 122 objects will legally become identified objects of the Russian Federation and take their rightful place among other unique monuments of the country. The former building of the Putilov Factory Consumers' Society at 39 Stachek Avenue has been recognized as a monument of regional significance.

The Consumers' Society was opened at the Putilov Factory in 1880 to provide workers and employees with high-quality food products and household goods at low prices. In 1911, a new stone store opened on the former Peterhof Highway. The first floor housed grocery stores, while the second floor housed haberdashery, clothing, footwear, and tableware stores.

The facades are designed in the Art Nouveau style. Today, the building retains its historical function and houses a variety of shops.

The Primorsky Market on Maly Prospekt in the Petrogradskaya district is listed as a regional monument.

The building was constructed in 1953-1955 based on a design by architects Lazar Hidekel and Oleg Golynkin from Lenproekt's 13th studio. The building was constructed on the site of the former wooden Deryabkinsky Market.

The Primorsky collective farm market was designed as a combined market with space for collective farm and state trade. To this end, three identical buildings connected by passageways were planned.

The entire market complex was conceived in a solemn and monumental style, and contemporary architects criticized the project for making a utilitarian building “resemble a museum.”

The Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Republic of Ingushetia has approved a comprehensive project by ACM Group to restore the Khart Tower Complex in mountainous Ingushetia. The project proposes the restoration of unique medieval towers and shrines, as well as the conservation of some buildings.

During a live broadcast on the St. Petersburg TV channel, the governor of St. Petersburg said that the Leningrad School of Restoration "is a treasure of St. Petersburg. The skill of these people and their love for the city and its heritage command enormous respect. The program to restore apartment buildings that are historical monuments involves more than just renovating facades. We are restoring the buildings to their historical appearance and reconstructing lost elements."

The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation has announced that it is accepting applications for funding for cultural heritage preservation projects from the federal budget for 2026 as part of the state program “Development of Culture.” Applications are accepted for projects involving properties that are federally owned or owned by religious organizations.
