Every Sunday at the walls of the Priory Palace in the park of the same name you can hear a noon shot from a cannon.

The Park Agency revives the traditions of the era of Paul I, when the best regiments of the Russian army arrived in Gatchina to conduct maneuvers established by the emperor. Here the tactics of occupying positions, shooting, bayonet attack were developed, artillery exercises were held separately. The great generals Bagration and Kutuzov participated in the maneuvers.

The gun is traditionally prepared by a knight of the Order of Malta.

Architects of ASM Group continue a series of drawings on medieval tower complexes of Ingushetia.

A new drawing by Elina Trishina captured the towers of the architectural complex "Vonushki".

Settlements and housing of the peoples of the North Caucasus in the XIX-XX centuries. Kobycheva V.P. is another important work, without which a researcher working with the material culture of the North Caucasus cannot do. It is part of the ASM Group library.

This monograph is the result of many years of research, and it is based on field ethnographic material collected in 1960-1978 in the republics and regions of the North Caucasus during expeditions of the Caucasus Department of the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The author also attracts literary materials and archival sources.

This work represents the development of a consolidated typology of the dwelling of the region, which makes it possible to systematize the diversity of forms of folk architecture of the North Caucasus to a certain extent.

V.P. Kobychev consistently and carefully, taking into separate chapters, considers all the constituent elements of settlements and dwellings: the settlements themselves, their types and shape, the manor and yard, the fence and gate, the dwellings themselves, their materials, construction equipment, layout, shape and materials of the roof, types of heating, interior and much more. And also gives a beautiful sketch of the history of the development of the settlement and housing before the beginning of the XIX century.

In addition, in conclusion, the author gives a table of basic terms for the settlement and dwelling of the North Caucasus with the translation of each term into the main languages of the region, including, of course, Ingush.

"ASM Group" together with the Restoration Workshop of the Pskov Diocese completes a complex of scientific studies of the Christmas Church on the territory of the Malsky Monastery, located between Izborsk and Pechora in the Pskov region.

Malsky Spaso-Christmas Orthodox Monastery arose as a place of monastic housing in the XV century on the shore of Malsky Lake. It is a cultural heritage of federal importance.

A positive conclusion of the State Expertise was received on the project of restoration and adaptation of the object of cultural significance of regional significance "Gerdaouen Castle Mill", located in the village of Railway of the Kaliningrad region.

The joint project of ASM Group and Baltsitiservice provides for a comprehensive restoration of the German mill and its adaptation to a cozy hotel with a brewery.

As part of the survey work in various archives of North Ossetia, researchers of ASM-Group discovered previously unpublished photos and articles by a prominent researcher, Caucasian scholar and archaeologist L.P. Semenov.

In the program article “Our work”, the scientist writes about the need for a comprehensive study of archaeological and cultural monuments to preserve the history of Ingushetia and its people.

After 100 years of writing, we can say that the monuments could not have waited even longer – active research and field work is ongoing to identify and register all objects of cultural heritage, as well as archival work to find written, pictorial and other sources that can shed light on the history of Ingushetia and its ancient monuments.

ASM Group congratulates archaeologists on their professional holiday!

Many of the company’s projects are related to archaeological research, including underwater research, which under the leadership of ASM Group are conducted in St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Pskov regions, as well as in the North Caucasus.

ASM Group specialists paid a friendly visit to the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. The principles of work and requirements of the Committee were discussed, as well as the upcoming design work on the Upper Mizur tower complex.

As part of the ongoing Program for the Identification of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Republic of Ingushetia, the team of ASM Group explored the medieval tower complex of Metskhal in mountainous Ingushetia. In the process of research, the base of 1 battle tower, 1 semi-combat tower and 16 residential towers, 5 crypts and 40 steles, as well as 3 springs and various outbuildings were revealed. All facilities are in emergency condition.

Restaurant "Palkin", which disappeared after the revolution and recreated by the architects of "ASM" on Nevsky Prospekt, 47 in St. Petersburg was celebrated many times as the best restaurant in the city and today remains a landmark place for St. Petersburgers and guests of the city.

As part of the ongoing Program to identify objects of cultural heritage of the Republic of Ingushetia, the specialists of ASM Group investigated the medieval tower complex of Gadaborsh in the mountainous part of Ingushetia.

During the research, 1 unique, previously unknown sanctuary, 1 combat and 1 semi-combat towers, 6 residential towers and 2 outbuildings, as well as 31 steles and 1 crypt were revealed.

Each expedition to the mountains, which lasts several days, allows the specialists of the ASM Group to cover and explore several complexes in the mountains of Ingushetia.

As part of the ongoing Program for the identification of cultural heritage sites in Ingushetia, the tower complex of Kyazi, located near the famous Bisht complex, was recently explored.

In the process of research, 2 semi-combat and 7 residential towers, 3 crypts and 36 steles, outbuildings, as well as traces of 6 cyclopean buildings were revealed.

As part of the ongoing Program for the identification of cultural heritage sites of the Republic of Ingushetia, the specialists of ASM Group together with border guards are preparing in the coming days to climb the Kokki tower complex, whose towers were blown up by the tsarist troops in the early twentieth century.

In Soviet times, the Kokki complex was mined as one of the complexes located in the border zone. Demining was not carried out according to sources.

Having completed several projects for the restoration of cultural heritage sites in Uzbekistan, and often visiting this hospitable Republic in the process of work, the architects of ASM Group replenished the company's library with several interesting and rare publications.

The album “Splendeurs des Oasis d’Ouzbekistan”, published in 2022 by the National Foundation for Art and Culture of Uzbekistan together with the Louvre Museums, presents unique archaeological artifacts and the process of their restoration.

The rarest full-color album in 350 pages was released by Editions El Viso, together with Musee du Louvre.

In the process of researching the Malsky Monastery in the Pskov region in the summer of 2024, specialists of the ASM Group and the Restoration Workshop of the Pskov Diocese discovered several royal coins belonging to various milestones in the history of imperial Russia.
