Nazran participated in the first international exhibition "PRO LANDSCAPE AND PLANTS 2026," taking place in Mineralnye Vody.

Landscaping and landscaping specialists, planting material producers, landscape architects and designers, and government and business representatives from various regions of Russia and abroad gathered at one venue.

A packed program is being prepared for residents and visitors on October 17 and 18.

A large celebratory concert will be held in the courtyard of the Palace of Culture on October 17.

At the same time, Kartskhal Malsagov Park will host its first gastronomic festival, featuring national cuisine, a fair, exhibitions, and folk craft workshops.

The opening of renovated public spaces—Kartskhal Malsagov Park and the city pond—is also timed to coincide with the anniversary dates.

Preparations for the events are currently underway. The Nazran administration is working on the design of the venues and all necessary conditions for the celebration.

The improvement of Vokzalnaya Street in Nazran has been completed.

Besides children's homes, social facilities, and a mosque, the street's condition directly impacts residents' daily lives.

The work was completed in stages. This year, a 300-meter section of the road was resurfaced. As a result, the entire street, approximately one kilometer long, is now in good condition.

However, road repairs were only part of the project. Before paving, water mains were replaced and a sewer system was installed.

This year, Nazran celebrates its 245th anniversary. To mark this anniversary, the city continues to renovate streets and public infrastructure—from major projects to areas used by residents every day.

A literary salon dedicated to the work of Boris Shadyzhev was held in Dolakovo.

A literary salon, "Lessons in Morality," was held at the Dolakovo Community Center as part of the "Culture for Schoolchildren" project, marking the 80th anniversary of the birth of Ingush writer, playwright, and publicist Boris Magometovich Shadyzhev.

The schoolchildren participating were told about the author's life and work and presented with selected works, focusing on themes of morality, family values, respect for traditions, and historical memory. A clay modeling studio is developing at the Ali-Yurt Community Center.

The Ali-Yurt Community Center (Nazran District, Republic of Ingushetia) has a clay modeling studio, and its membership is steadily growing.

The classes not only involve practical clay work but also educational activities: students learn about folklore, ethnic traditions, and historical and scientific knowledge. Representatives of the Nazran District leadership visited the Glory Memorial and Local History Museum in the village of Plievo.

Acting Head of the Nazran Municipal District Mukharbek Aushev, Chairman of the District Council of Deputies Idris Ekazhev, Head of the Finance Department Timur Merzhoev, and heads of rural settlements toured the exhibits at the Glory Memorial and Local History Museum at Secondary School No. 2 in the village of Plievo.

The museum, which has been operating since 2000, is part of the "School Museum of Victory" program and is a partner of the Victory Museum. The exhibits include the Hall of Military Glory (including materials about participants in the First World War, the Great Patriotic War, and the defense of Malgobek) and the Memorial Hall of Hero of Russia Sulambek Oskanov.

The "Patriot" local history research club, led by Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Ingushetia Malika Gardanova, plays a special role in the museum's work.

Mukharbek Aushev noted M.A. Gardanova's significant contribution to the preservation of historical and cultural heritage and the patriotic education of youth.

A Lesson of Courage commemorating the end of World War II was held at the Yandare Rural Community Center.

Schoolchildren and young people from the village participated in the event. The institution's artistic director, Madina Evloeva, presented information about the key stages of the war, the courage of Soviet soldiers, and the contribution of Ingush natives to achieving victory.

Presentations, archival photographs, and newsreels were used during the meeting. The goal of the event was to foster historical literacy, patriotic awareness, and respect for the heroic deeds of ancestors.

Inspections of social facilities have begun in the Nazran District.

At the direction of the regional governor, a systematic inspection of social facilities and adjacent areas is being conducted in the Nazran District of Ingushetia.

Acting District Head Mukharbek Aushev held an on-site meeting in the rural settlement of Surkhakhi. Deputy Acting District Head Khizir Bogatyrev and Acting Head of the Settlement Ibragim Bogatyrev participated in the event.

The Nazran Regional House of Culture hosted a free screening of the Soviet comedy "The Diamond Arm" (directed by Leonid Gaidai, 1968) as part of the "Cinema Night" event. The event took place on the eve of a nationwide event that will connect venues across the country on August 29.

According to Tamerlan Dzeitov, Director of the Nazran Regional House of Culture, the screening allowed residents and visitors of Nazran to reconnect with their favorite characters and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the golden age of Soviet cinema.

The film "The Diamond Arm," which has become part of the cultural code, united audiences of different generations. Guests of the event noted that the film remains relevant and continues to bring joy to audiences.

Students from the future agro-technology class at State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 5 in the village of Ekazhevo" participated in practical work on harvesting potatoes. In the spring, the students planted the crop, and this year they harvested the harvested crop, reinforcing their knowledge of the fundamentals of plant growing.

During the lesson, the students practiced teamwork, observing natural processes, and taking responsibility for the results of their work.

The development of agro-technology classes continues in the Republic of Ingushetia: six classes have been operating in five schools in the region since September 1, 2025, and seven more classes are planned for this year, including at this school.

Road safety prevention campaigns were held in Nazran.

In anticipation of the new school year, traffic police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Ingushetia stepped up their road safety efforts in Nazran.

Officers from the traffic police's publicity department, together with Nazran traffic police officers and members of the young traffic inspectors' squad from Secondary School No. 17, held the campaigns "Driver, Let the Pedestrian Pass" and "Save a Life! Slow Down!"

The main goal of these events is to draw the attention of drivers and pedestrians to their mutual responsibility on the road and to remind them of simple rules that help protect life and health.

Drivers were reminded of the need to:

With the start of the school year, the number of children on the city streets will increase. Therefore, the State Traffic Inspectorate urges all road users to be attentive, obey the rules, and remember: road safety begins with everyone's responsibility.

In Nazran, approximately 10 km of roads will be renovated in its anniversary year.

In the year of its 245th anniversary, Nazran continues to renew its urban infrastructure.

This includes both major repairs of individual sections and the restoration of pavement on streets in need of renovation.

One of the projects is Yuzhnaya Street in the Nasyr-Kort Administrative District. Here, the roadway is being repaired and the surrounding area is being improved. Specifically, a parking area is being created near the Y. I. Arapiyev Ingush Polytechnic College.

The need for an integrated approach is especially noticeable in areas with high traffic congestion. Yuzhnaya Street is located in an area with residential neighborhoods and social facilities, so the road condition and traffic management directly impact residents' daily commute.

Repairs were also previously completed on Lesnaya, Temirkhanov, and Mutsolgov Streets, covering a total length of approximately 800 meters. The renovation affected sections that provide transport links between residential areas and urban infrastructure.

Routine repairs are also being carried out on other streets. Individual sections of the road network are being upgraded, including in response to resident requests. This approach allows for the most problematic areas to be addressed promptly, without having to wait for a major street-wide renovation.

Road renovations are occurring alongside other changes to the urban environment. In Nazran, outdoor lighting is being modernized, public spaces are being landscaped, and courtyards and areas around socially significant facilities are being improved.

For the city, which turns 245 this year, infrastructure development is becoming part of a larger effort to renew Nazran.

The annual "Get Your Child Ready for School" campaign has launched in Nazran.

Following instructions from Nazran Mayor Ruslan Ozdoyev, 700 school bags containing essential stationery have been prepared for children from low-income and needy families.

Support for children and families facing difficult life situations remains a key focus of social work in the city.

A working meeting between representatives of the Ingushetia Archaeological Center and scholars from the Institute for the Study of the Hungarian People (Budapest) was held in Nazran.

The key topic of discussion was the influence of the Scythian era on the material culture monuments and ancient artifacts of the North Caucasus. Deputy Director of the Archaeological Center, Umalat Gadiev, noted the presence of Scythian-type features in a number of burial grounds in the foothills and plateaus (Lugovoy, Nesterovsky, Karabulaksky, Barsukinsky, and others), as well as in the collections of the Ingush State Museum of Local History.

Hungarian archaeologist Veronica Horváth expressed interest in the data obtained and proposed joint research, including in natural sciences.

The parties agreed to systematize contacts, conduct regular monitoring, and exchange the latest source materials. The visit was a continuation of a partnership that began in 2016: at the initiative of Umalat Gadiev, the Institute for Nuclear Research of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Debrecen) conducted radiocarbon dating, which made it possible to establish the precise dating of a number of military towers in the mountainous part of Ingushetia.

The main phase of repairs to Dakhkilgova Street has begun in the village of Dolakovo.

The work is being carried out in response to a resident's request voiced in November 2025 during the Direct Line with the Head of the Region, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov. Initially, temporary pothole repairs were carried out on the street, and now the second, major phase is underway.

The section requiring full renovation is approximately 850 meters long. Currently, the old road surface has been removed, the base has been prepared, and a new asphalt layer is planned for later.

The progress of the repairs was inspected by Acting Head of the Municipal Administration, Mukharbek Aushev, Deputy Head of the District Administration, Timerlan Izmailov, and Lead Specialist of the Administrative Commission, Magomed Tarshkhoev. During the inspection, they assessed the current condition of the site and discussed future improvements.

Mukharbek Aushev emphasized that the key objective is to complete the repairs to a high standard, so that Dakhkilgova Street becomes convenient and safe for local residents.

Construction of a new district hospital is nearing completion in Ali-Yurt.

The Head of Ingushetia, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, visited the facility and inspected preparations for its opening. This is a particularly important facility for the village, home to over 7,000 people: currently, only an outpatient clinic is available, and residents must seek certain types of medical care in other towns.

The new hospital will have 30 beds and a clinic capable of treating approximately 100 patients per shift. The two-story building, with an area of ​​approximately 2,000 square meters, will house offices for a general practitioner, a surgeon, and a pediatrician, as well as physiotherapy, radiology, and functional diagnostics departments.

Construction began in September 2024 as part of the "Primary Healthcare Modernization" project, part of the "Long Active Life" national project and the United Russia party's People's Program. The cost of the project is approximately 230 million rubles.

The main construction and installation work has already been completed. The contractor is scheduled to complete the remaining work by the end of August, after which the facility will undergo the necessary procedures for commissioning. Once all obligations are met and the license is obtained, the hospital is scheduled to open in mid-September.

The head of the republic also ordered the provision of convenient access to the hospital, parking, and landscaping. Deciduous trees—acacia, chestnut, and linden—are planned for planting.

On August 20, 2026, a nationwide anti-terrorism security exercise was held at Multidisciplinary Lyceum No. 1 in the rural settlement of Ali-Yurt. The event was organized in accordance with the instructions of the Russian Ministry of Education.

The exercise tested the lyceum staff and security personnel's preparedness to respond to terrorist threats, including hostage-taking scenarios and the use of flammable liquids.

A briefing was held before the practical portion. Representatives of the Russian National Guard and the regional emergency services participated in the exercise. Evacuation procedures, alerting emergency services, and coordination between responsible officials were practiced. Special attention was paid to the psychological preparedness of the staff and the coordination of actions.

Following the exercise, specialists analyzed the participants' actions and provided recommendations for improving response algorithms.

An informational hour titled "Stop and Think" on drug prevention was held in the rural settlement of Yandare.

The event took place on August 18th at the Community Center and was aimed at raising awareness among young people about the dangers of psychoactive substances and fostering a negative attitude toward drugs and other addictions.

During the meeting, the Community Center's artistic director, Madina Evloeva, spoke to participants about the legal consequences of drug use and distribution, illustrating the topic with real-life examples.

Finally, the event urged young people to take responsibility for their health, avoid dangerous addictions, and choose an active and healthy lifestyle.

The official opening of the annual "Get Your Child Ready for School" campaign took place at the district community center in the village of Ekazhevo. The event was opened by Vladimir Slastenin, Chairman of the Government of Ingushetia. The campaign was previously announced by Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, Head of Ingushetia.

This year's school supply kits were created based on parents' wishes and children's age-specific needs. The kits include a backpack and a full set of school supplies.
