Upper Fiagdon is a village in the Alagirsky District of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. It is the administrative center of the Fiagdon rural settlement. It is located in the Kurtatinsky Gorge at an altitude of 1,328 meters above sea level, on the right bank of the Fiagdon River, 45 km from the district center of Alagir and 48 km from Vladikavkaz.

It is famous for its unique nature, ancient monuments, and traditional Ossetian flavor. The village and its surroundings have preserved battle towers (14th-18th centuries) and crypts-zagapy, ancient family tombs. The nature of the Kurtatinsky Gorge attracts tourists to the city—trekking and photo tours are popular here.

The village has a developed mining industry, producing lead and zinc ores. It also has a well-developed tourist and transport infrastructure. The village can be reached by various modes of transport, including Russian airlines.
