A meeting of residents of the Galyat rural settlement was held in the village of Kamunta. The artists presented guests and residents of the republic with a program of original performances that allowed them to immerse themselves in the cultural traditions of Ossetia.

water supply problems;

land resource issues.

Representatives of the district administration and services provided comprehensive explanations on the spot for a number of issues. For other, more complex issues, it was decided to carry out additional work with subsequent monitoring of implementation.

As part of the national project “Youth and Children,” students from the lower grades of School No. 1 in the village of Chikola visited the district children's library.

The children looked at the shelves with interest, familiarized themselves with the thematic sections, and discovered a whole world of fantasy and adventure. The “Space” section made a particular impression—the children's eyes lit up when they were offered the chance to choose books they liked to read at home.

For many of the children, this visit was an important and memorable event—the first step toward choosing literature independently. It is precisely such vivid moments that awaken genuine interest and form a true, deep love of reading that lasts a lifetime.

The national project “Youth and Children,” within the framework of which this significant visit took place, helps to create modern and comfortable conditions for the development of young readers, opening up new horizons of knowledge and creativity for them.

International Day of Older Persons was celebrated in social institutions in North Ossetia.

Heads of structural divisions of the ministry visited district comprehensive social service centers to talk to residents and share the festive mood with them.

Social workers from the home social services department No. 1 of the Irafsky District Social Services Center congratulated social service recipients on the Day of Older Persons.

Volunteers will hold an environmental campaign called “Water of Russia” in the mountain village of Faraskatta and clean up the banks of the Aigamugidon River. The event will be held in support of the national project “Environmental Well-being.”

The campaign is organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania in conjunction with eco-volunteers.

On October 10, 2025, the District Palace of Culture in the village of Chikola will host a creative evening with Ruslan Omarbievich Babochiti, a folk poet of Ossetia, member of the Russian Writers' Union, and winner of the Yabloko Nartov national award.

The event will begin at 1:30 p.m.

A working meeting was held at the district administration to discuss issues related to the preservation of the unique natural environment and the development of settlements in the Alania National Park.

All participants agreed that only through joint efforts can the fragile balance between the development of the territory and the protection of its unique nature for future generations be preserved, doing everything possible to ensure that the Digor Gorge remains one of the most beautiful places in our region.

As part of the national project “Family,” students from the village of visited the North Ossetian State Academic Theater named after V.V. Tkhapsaev in Vladikavkaz, where, as part of the Pushkin Card program, they watched the famous play Fatima, based on the poem of the same name by the Ossetian classic Kosta Khetagurov.

The play, which tells the story of a dramatic fate and strength of spirit, made a deep impression on the children, allowing them not only to enjoy the powerful acting and direction, but also to take a fresh look at their native literature.

This event was a real celebration of art and a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience the world of theater.

As part of the national project “Family,” an event called “Iron Fandyr” was held at the district cultural center in the village of Chikola, dedicated to the 166th anniversary of the birth of the founder of Ossetian literature, Kosta Levanovich Khetagurov.

The central event of the day was a recitation contest, in which the immortal lines of the poet were recited, with each participant putting their heart and soul into their performance. It was clear that for them this was not just a competition, but a sincere, profound dialogue with the legacy of their great compatriot.

The participants' performances were evaluated by a distinguished jury, which included true guardians of Ossetian culture - workers in the field of culture and education in the republic.

On October 22, Eldar Afashokov, Acting Chairman of the Committee on Press and Mass Communications of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, paid a working visit to the Irafsky District.

He met with Robert Khamikoyev, Head of the Irafsky District, to discuss the role of municipal media and ways to develop it.

During a visit to the editorial office of the Iraf newspaper, he spoke with Editor-in-Chief Madina Khotsaonova about increasing circulation, expanding the audience, and solving problems with delivery of the publication to residents.

The audience was shown a classic of Soviet cinema, the film “The Soldier's Father.” The film tells the story of the deep, selfless love of a father who is ready to go through all the trials of war to find his son. This story is a powerful reminder of the strength of parental love, sacrifice, and fortitude.

Viewing and discussing a film that explores the theme of fatherhood allows us to reflect on the role of the father as a protector, support, and moral guide.

A joint commission from the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania paid a working visit to the village of Aksarisar in the Irafsky District today.

The commission included Sergey Galyamin, head of the Department of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, Marat Betanov, Minister of Construction and Architecture of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, as well as heads of key relevant departments.

On behalf of the Irafsky municipal district administration, the commission was accompanied by First Deputy Head of the District Administration Soslan Makoev and Head of the Department of Architecture, Construction, and Transport of the District Administration Arsen Kozhiev.

The main focus of the visit was to inspect residential buildings located in the landslide zone on the banks of the Urukh River. Experts found that five residential buildings suffered the most damage as a result of soil displacement. Monitoring shows that subsoil deformations have been recorded here since 2017 and continue to progress.

To address this issue, the Irafsky District Administration, with the support of the Republican Ministry of Construction, has been working since 2019 to include these properties in federal programs aimed at resettling citizens from emergency housing.

Following the visit, the Russian Ministry of Construction made a key decision to develop a special mechanism to speed up the provision of assistance to residents and ensure their prompt resettlement from dangerous houses.

As part of the national project “Youth and Children,” first-graders from the school in the village of Lesken took an exciting journey into the magical world of literature by visiting the school library. The visit was timed to coincide with International School Library Day.
