PSU is hosting a series of master classes: “Management in the Restaurant and Gastronomy Industry”.

Students learned how to create a unique style and atmosphere of an establishment, and discussed current trends in gastronomy and management.

PSU hosted the university stage of the Spring League Special Project for students “Your move x Debattle”.

The special project “Your move x Debattle” is an intellectual show in which the participants fight in the ability to persuade, argue and debate.

According to the results of two rounds, the jury members determined the team that will represent our university at the regional stage of the special project.

The Open Day has begun!

From the very morning the main hall of PSU has become a gathering place for all those wishing to visit our university.

Students of all Institutes and Higher Schools are happy to present their faculties, answering the questions of our university guests.

Very soon the official opening and meeting with the university administration will take place in the Great Assembly Hall of PSU.

Right now in PSU classrooms there are meetings with representatives of all Institutes and Graduate Schools of the university.

At the meetings applicants and their parents can ask questions to the Deans and get qualified feedback.

PSU professors and students visited the operetta theater.

The Stavropol State Operetta Theater showed a fascinating operetta in three acts “Die Fledermaus” - the calling card of the operetta theater, which pleases the audience for 86 years!

Teachers and students of our wonderful did not miss the opportunity and visited the theater of Pyatigorsk for the World Theater Day!

The final stage of the PSU Olympiad for high school students “Your Intellect - Your Future” took place.

The Olympiad was attended by 73 students of 9-11 grades.

The first day of the Olympiad was devoted to natural sciences - biology, mathematics and computer science.

The second day of the Olympiad included such subjects as history, Russian language, social studies.

The final day of the Olympiad was devoted to foreign languages: English, German, Spanish, Chinese, French and Arabic.

Winners, prize-winners and participants of the Olympiad will be awarded additional points for admission to PSU in accordance with the Admission Rules 2025!

Today PSU is hosting the North Caucasus Legal Forum “New Horizons of Legal Science Development and Improvement of Modern Legislation” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

During the forum a solemn ceremony of signing a cooperation agreement between Pyatigorsk State University and South Ossetian State University named after A.A. Tibilov was held. A.A. Tibilov South Ossetian State University.

On March 25, the competition of scientific projects, where the best developments in the field of IT, mathematics and natural sciences were presented, ended.

The winner was 3rd year students of the Institute of Foreign Languages and International Tourism of Pyatigorsk State University - Eduard Cherevan, Mikhail Chmyrev and Daria Gitalova with the project of neural network model of ant swarm behavior to create collectively interacting robots.

PSU is hosting the district round of the All-Russian Student Law Olympiad.

Alexander Pavlovich Gorbunov, Rector of Pyatigorsk State University, made a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony.

Participants from 13 universities of the North Caucasian Federal District came to our university to participate in the Olympiad.

There are 5 nominations in the Olympiad round:

constitutional law;

criminal law;

civil law;

tax law;

information law.

The second day of the North Caucasus Legal Forum․

Today the work of the forum “New Horizons of Legal Science Development and Improvement of Modern Legislation” continues.

Then three round tables will be held, where such topics will be considered as:

interaction between the state and civil society;

the role of modern mass media in the election campaign;

actual problems of electoral law and electoral process in the subjects of the Russian Federation.

The Mutual Aid and Mutual Respect media forum was launched, where students will create content and social advertising. The event united students from 11 universities in Stavropol.

PSU student media activists and staff of the Center for Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values actively participate in the media forum.

The participants are expected to attend lectures, panel discussions, master classes, project presentations, presentations by experts and work in teams.
